A design researcher, futurist and social entrepreneur from Toronto, Andrew is skilled in systems thinking, piloting value propositions, customer and market research, finding product-market fit and facilitating strategic partnerships with corporate or government innovation teams.
He is a founding member of the innovation team at Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System (OMERS), a Canadian public pension fund serving over 500,000 members with more than $124 billion in assets under management. Andrew is also the founder of the guided journaling platform Campfire. He has led new venture, strategic design and customer research projects for clients in healthcare, finance, sustainability and the built environment.
Andrew holds a master of design in strategic foresight and innovation from OCAD University and bachelor of commerce in entrepreneurship and strategy from Toronto Metropolitan University as well as certificates in new venture leadership from M.I.T. and designing for transformation training from Kaospilot. He presented his original research into design-led enterprise innovation at the Design Management Institute’s (DMI) Academic Design Management Conference. It was subsequently published in volume 16 of dmi:Journal.
