In the not-so-distant past, our built environments were constrained by nature. Now our lives increasingly take place in spaces shaped by design. Since what we build both online and off impacts how people interact with the world, Noteh believes there is a responsibility to take a holistic and intentional approach to design. For more than five years, he’s been building the next-generation design firm: Aesthetic Dimension Group (ADG).
Since founding ADG in 2017, Noteh has partnered with Bayer, Samsung, McKinsey & Company, 500 Startups and other organizations to design ambitious ventures that have the opportunity to reshape contemporary society. He is also helping mould the next generation of designers through education and mentorship. As the leader of the Speculative Futures San Francisco meetup, he brought together decision-makers from Mozilla, Airbnb, Ford Motor Company and the creative director of Google’s X, the moonshot factory to discuss their process for ideation, design strategy and road to commercialization.
Noteh has been published in the academic journal World Futures Review, and lectured at California College of the Arts, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, Design Futures Initiative’s conferences PRIMER U.S. and PRIMER EU at Helsinki Design Week, as well as Georgia's first international accelerator program 500Georgia Accelerator — a partnership between 500 Global, Georgia's Innovation & Technology Agency (GITA) and Bank of Georgia — and conferences in Mexico, Russia and Japan. Noteh also teaches ARTG 5710: Design for Dignity at Northeastern University.
